Loch Haven Park

The Orlando Museum of Art is located in Orlando Loch Haven Park, the region’s premier cultural park.

Loch Haven Park is also home to the Mennello Museum of American Art, Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Orlando Repertory Theatre, Orlando Science Center, Orlando Shakespeare Theater, Orlando Fire Museum and the Orlando Garden Club. Additionally, many annual events take place in Orlando Loch Haven Park, such as the Orlando International Fringe Festival, Target Family Theatre Festival, PlayFest, Pet Fair and, of course, OMA’s Council of 101 Festival of Trees and Antiques Vintage and Garden Show and Sale.

Nestled between three lakes, Lake Estelle on the north, Lake Rowena on the east, and Lake Formosa on the south, the Orlando Loch Haven Park is located at Mills Avenue and Princeton Street. The lawn areas in the center of the Park are wonderful places to sit and enjoy the lake views shaded by majestic oak trees, including “The Mayor” one of Central Florida’s oldest and largest oak trees.

The Mennello Museum of American Art is owned and operated by the City of Orlando and is an Institutional Member of The American Association of Museums, The Southeast Conference of Museums, The Florida Association of Museums and The Florida Art Museum Directors Association.

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra is Central Florida’s resident orchestra, appearing in more than 125 performances each season. The Philharmonic‘s mission is to foster and promote symphonic music through excellence in performance, education and cultural leadership.

As a professional theatre for family audiences in partnership with UCF, Orlando Repertory Theatre (The REP) opened its doors on October 9, 2003. With a strong mission and dedicated Staff and Board of Directors, The REP is a place where young audiences can come and experience the adventure and creative wonder of watching their favorite characters come to life!

The Orlando Science Center fosters curiosity, innovation, discovery and intellectual achievement drawing together all our varied Central Florida cultures, through participative, authentic experiences that create an appreciation for the importance of science and technology to our way of life.

With Shakespeare as our standard and inspiration, the Orlando Shakespeare Theater produces bold professional theater, develops new plays and provides innovative educational experiences that enrich our community.
