Studio Art Sessions for Students Entering Grades 1-8

Become immersed in art-making experiences that place value on the process of creative expression in a relaxed atmosphere. From programs for fun-loving kids to the more serious students of art, sessions offer something for every budding artist. Register for one week or up to ten weeks with a different theme each week.

First-Second Grade

These programs are designed to expose students to a broad range of ideas and art-making experiences through theme-based classes. The emphasis is on fun! Week-long full-day or half-day sessions are available. Projects will be different in morning and afternoon sessions.

Third-Fifth Grade

These programs are designed to strengthen technical skills through medium-specific experiences. The classes emphasize developing observation skills and an ability to think independently. Week-long full-day or half-day sessions are available.

Sixth-Eighth Grade

Our programs for middle school students expose them to a variety of topics and art media. The emphasis is on strengthening technical skills and on opportunities for personal exploration. Week-long full-day or half-day sessions are available.

Community Access Programs

Two weeks of half-day programs are offered for students with developmental and learning disabilities entering grades 3-5. Students will enjoy access to the visual arts, both in the galleries and in the studio, in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.

Loch Haven Partners Summer Camp: STEAM Camp
June 3-7 or June 17-21

Discover the unique relationship between science, theater arts, and visual arts! This collaborative camp starts and ends each day at Orlando Science Center and includes daily sessions at Orlando Shakespeare Theater and Orlando Museum of Art. For students entering grades 3-5. Registration Information

Registrations are accepted on a space-available basis prior to the first day of class. The Orlando Museum of Art reserves the right to cancel any session that does not meet the minimum enrollment (10 students). Full payment is required before your child’s registration will be processed (we cannot hold a space for your child until we receive full payment). Early Drop Off/Late Pick Up
Early drop off is available from 8-9am for $25 per week, per child. Late pick up is available from 4-5:15pm for $25 per week, per child (an additional $1 per minute charge will be incurred for pick up later than 5:15pm). Payment for the entire week is required; no pro-rating available.

Refunds
All refund requests must be made in writing. A full refund, less a $25 handling fee, will be made if written notice is provided prior to two weeks before the first day of the class session. No refund, no exceptions, will be made within the two weeks before the first day of the session. No refunds are available for unused days of a session.

Changes to a Registration
Changes to a registration, such as transferring to a different week than originally selected, incurs a $25 handling fee and is based on class availability.

Registration
Once you submit a registration, an email confirmation will be sent to verify your child’s enrollment. If you do not receive a confirmation within two weeks of your submission, please contact the Education Office at (407) 896-4231, ext. 262 or at education@omart.org.

The OMA processes registrations as they are received. You will be notified if the sessions you have requested are full.
