Select Saturdays, from 1-4pm
In these FREE monthly workshops, teens will develop their portfolios and receive input on their in-progress art projects. Students should bring a project they are working on to the class and any supplies needed to complete the project. After visiting the galleries to study a relevant contemporary artist, teens will spend the remainder of the class in the studio working on their projects under the supervision of a Museum Educator. Basic drawing and painting supplies will be available for use.
Though this program is free, pre-registration is required. A $15 No Show Fee will be charged to any student who does not give notice 24 hours prior to the class meeting.
This program is led by David Matteson, Associate Curator of Education & Outreach.
