Come on an adventure at OMA! Join us for a workshop that features a hands-on art activity in the studio followed by a visit to the gallery. Explore materials and techniques in a stimulating and inviting environment that fosters engagement and creativity for young children and their favorite grownup! Ideal for children ages 2-10.

Friday, September 1: Where The Wild Things Are!
Come get wild at OMA! Join us in the galleries where we’ll explore the wild art of Magnus Sodamin while also reading Maurice Sendak’s popular book, Where the Wild Things Are. In the studio, create wild works of art using wild colors and materials!
Friday, October 6: Planes, Trains, Tractors, and Boats
All aboard! Join us as we explore the exhibition, Something Like A Hello: The Picture Book Art of Loren Long. Go on a scavenger hunt and see how many planes, trains, tractors, and boats you can find in Long’s illustrations! Design your own vehicle for transportation using paper, cardboard, markers, and more.
Friday, November 3: Autumn Leaves and Pumpkins Please!
Explore the colors and symbols of autumn such as, autumn leaves, pumpkins, football, turkeys, and more! Draw, paint, cut, and glue to create works of art that represent the fall season.
Friday, December 1: Holiday Photo Hanger
Create a special photo hanger for the family to enjoy! Use popsicle sticks, sequins, paint, and more to design a work of art to hold your 2023 Art Adventure memory!
REFUND POLICY
Full refunds will be provided if a class does not meet minimum enrollment and is canceled. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be provided for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the first day of the class. No refunds, no exceptions, will be made if the cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to a class. Refund requests must be made in writing and should be emailed to education@omart.org.
