Join us for a studio program designed specifically for homeschool students (ages 9-13)! In this series of classes taught by art teacher Catherine Cross, students start with the basics and build upon that foundation, as they learn from authentic works of art and explore elements of art and principles of design in engaging ways.
January 12 - Fun with Gelli Plates
Create beautiful prints for abstract art collages.
February 9 - Exploring Color
Explore color theory, the difference between primary and secondary colors, as well as warm and cool. Create your own watercolor and canvas painting using your new knowledge of color!
March 16 – Go Green!
Create with nature using clay, sticks, and colored earth for paints and pigments. Experiment with pounded botanicals and make prints of plant parts.
April 13 – Patchwork Pizazz!
Be inspired by the patterns of the Native American Seminole to piece together your own paper quilt.
May 4 - Fiber Art Fun
Create a small beaded Seminole bandolier bag to hold your own handmade paper journal made during class. Learn the history of the bandolier and view examples in the gallery for inspiration.

Refund Policy: Full refunds will be provided if a class does not meet minimum enrollment and is cancelled. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be provided for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the first day of the class. No refunds, no exceptions, will be made if the cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to a class. Refund requests must be made in writing and should be emailed to email@example.com.
