Art in the Afternoon: Lakeside Painting

For students ages 9-13!

Discover the art of painting outdoors! Explore OMA’s American Art collection and become inspired by the Hudson River School painters. Learn about landscape painting in the 19th century and how it influenced people to move to America. Weather permitting, easels will be provided for plein air painting by Lake Estelle. Dress comfortably for painting outside.

Refund Policy: Full refunds will be provided if a class does not meet minimum enrollment and is cancelled. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be provided for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the first day of the class. No refunds, no exceptions, will be made if the cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to a class. Refund requests must be made in writing and should be emailed to education@omart.org.
