September 13: Celebrate the Face with Donna Castellanos
Create a fabulous fabric portrait of yourself or of someone special to you. Play with salvaged and vintage fabric, trims, zippers, snaps, pins, needles, and more! Use the precut head and body shapes available or cut out your own. All skill levels welcome. Feel free to bring some personal items that you wish to incorporate into your portrait. Castellanos is a featured artist in The Outwin: American Portraiture Today exhibition.

October 11: I Vant to Suck Your Blood: Vampirism in the Natural World with Xavier Moss
Dracula may be The Prince of Darkness, but he's not the only bloodsucker on the prowl. Join us as we explore and paint the chilling vampires of the natural world...if you dare!
The piece itself will be composed of several vampiric animals arranged in a manner reminiscent of the many Hammer Horror films starring Christopher Lee as Dracula. These animals include, but are not limited to: Vampire Bat, Mosquitoes, Ticks, Lampreys, Kissing Bugs, Vampire Squid, Vampire Finch, Oxpecker, and Dracula Fish.

November 29: Colors Changing Hue with Dena Carlson
Paint an abstract watercolor using American Modernist composition and color. Be inspired by the works of Georgia O’Keeffe, John Marin, Milton Avery, and other early 20th century watercolor artists. Beginning with a basic color mixing exercise, you’ll learn techniques for application of watercolor, then paint a composition of your choosing either representational or non-representational abstraction.
