Studio One: Precious Metal Clay Jewelry with Ralphine Ippoliti
April 13, 2019 @ 1:00pm to April 20, 2019 @ 3:30pm
April 13 and April 20
Precious metal clay allows artists to easily create unique pieces of jewelry that result in a 99.9% fine silver composition after firing. In our first session, we’ll create a gorgeous piece of jewelry using this easily worked material. After these pieces are fired, we’ll spend our second session on burnishing and finishing techniques. You’ll discover a new craft and leave with a beautiful piece of bling!
Ralphine Ippoliti has been a certified PMC instructor since 1999. When not doing engineering, she loves to explore different art mediums. Art allows her to use both sides of her brain—the engineer in her needs a creative release! Over the years, many of her jewelry pieces have been donated to the Mendocino Hospital Foundation, where she has a following that looks forward to what new items she’ll create from PMC and various beads. Ralphine has led workshops at various locations, and she considers watching her students create masterpieces the best part of teaching!
