Studio Art Sessions for Students Entering Grades 1-8

Become immersed in art-making experiences that place value on the process of creative expression in a relaxed atmosphere. From programs for fun-loving kids to the more serious students of art, sessions offer something for every budding artist. Register for one week or up to ten weeks with a different theme each week.

First-Second Grade:

These programs are designed to expose students to a broad range of ideas and art-making experiences through theme-based classes. The emphasis is on fun! Week-long full-day or half-day sessions are available. Projects will be different in morning and afternoon sessions. LEARN MORE »

Third-Fifth Grade:

These programs are designed to strengthen technical skills through medium-specific experiences. The classes emphasize developing observation skills and an ability to think independently. Week-long full-day or half-day sessions are available. LEARN MORE »

Sixth-Eighth Grade:

Our programs for middle school students expose them to a variety of topics and art media. The emphasis is on strengthening technical skills and on opportunities for personal exploration. Week-long full-day or half-day sessions are available. LEARN MORE »

Community Access Programs:

Two weeks of half-day programs are offered for students with developmental and learning disabilities entering grades 3-5. Students will enjoy access to the visual arts, both in the galleries and in the studio, in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. LEARN MORE »

Loch Haven Partners Summer Camp: Adventures in Science, Art, and Theater
June 4-8 or June 18-22

Discover the unique relationship between science, theater arts, and visual arts! This collaborative camp starts and ends each day at Orlando Science Center and includes daily sessions at Orlando Shakespeare Theater and Orlando Museum of Art. During this week-long experience, campers will explore how science and art overlap in an exploration of Florida history, storytelling and dance, artworks and ecosystems.
