When: Select Thursdays, 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.​

What: Let OMA come to you through this virtual youth workshop! Explore an art history topic and exciting art project with each Zoom session! Learn step-by-step techniques to create your own unique piece of art at home!

Students will be sent material lists 1-2 weeks prior to each session to ensure that they have the supplies needed.

Who: Ages 7-13

February 11: The Art of the Valentine

Discover the history of Valentine’s Day and why we consider February to be the month of love. Design a spiral paper rose heart and pair it with the perfect original poem to create a one-of-a-kind valentine card!

March 11: Nick Cave

Explore the art of Nick Cave! Discover how Nick Cave upcycles discarded objects and materials, transforming them into new and unique pieces of artwork. Create your own Nick Cave Soundsuit with materials provided by OMA! Pick-up your Soundsuit Kit at the museum between March 8-11 and be ready to walk through the creation process with Ms. Molly during the virtual workshop.
