Explore artwork from the Pattern and Decoration (P&D) Movement, specifically artists such as Miriam Schapiro and Norma Canelas Roth. Use canvas, assorted textiles, and other decorative elements to create works of art that dazzle and attract!

Friday, February 2: Art from the HeART
Design works of art that celebrate the month of love! Journey into the galleries and view Heartland, a large heart-shaped work of art by Miriam Schapiro. Be inspired to create big and small heart themed Valentine’s Day cards using paper, ribbon, doilies, stickers, markers, and more!

Join us as we read and create artwork inspired by the book, The Noisy Paint Box: The Colors and Sounds of Kandinsky’s Abstract Art written by Barb Rosenstock and illustrated by Mary GrandPré. Create your own nosy paint box and embellish it with paint, jewels, sequins, and more!

REFUND POLICY
Full refunds will be provided if a class does not meet minimum enrollment and is canceled. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be provided for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the first day of the class. No refunds, no exceptions, will be made if the cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to a class. Refund requests must be made in writing and should be emailed to education@omart.org.
