Writing in the Galleries

Explore connections between the visual and literary arts through this series of writing workshops offered in the Museum galleries. At each session, students will learn the rich histories behind works in the collection, and then respond to writing prompts that relate to the artwork. Locally-based writer Lezlie Laws will lead the writing portion of this program.
Lezlie Laws is the director and founder of LifeArt Studio, offering workshops and private and group coaching for those wanting to enhance their capacities for living creatively and joyfully in a world fraught with challenges. Lezlie had a long and happy career as a teacher of writing at Rollins College, and now she blends her love of writing and her love of art into her workshops and coaching services.
Season Tuition: $80 and includes a copy of Lezlie’s book Twelve Doors
Individual Sessions: $25

Refund Policy: Full refunds will be provided if a class does not meet minimum enrollment and is cancelled. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be provided for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the first day of the class. No refunds, no exceptions, will be made if the cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to a class. Refund requests must be made in writing and should be emailed to email@example.com.
