Sketching in the Galleries invites visitors to slow down and draw directly from the art on view. This casual, drop-in program provides a calm, creative setting to practice observation and mark-making at your own pace. Whether you are brand new to drawing or looking to keep your skills sharp, you will find a welcoming space to explore line, shape, and composition in the galleries. Basic, gallery-appropriate supplies are provided, and you are welcome to bring a small sketchbook.
Arrive anytime during the two-hour window, pick up sketching materials, and choose a gallery space that inspires you. Stay for a few minutes or the full session, then revisit the works you sketched to compare details and progress.
