September 18:  Florida Watercolor Society with Jackii Molsick

Join former Florida Watercolor Society President Jackii Molsick as she shares her journey from advertising executive to full-time artist and arts advocate. A former member of Artisans on Fifth, she believes in the power of art to inspire, heal, and create change. Through stories from her career and community work, she explores how art can uplift individuals and strengthen communities.

 

October 16: Hispanic Heritage Month with Tatiana Mesa Pajan

Tatiana Mesa Paján is a process-based artist whose work explores poetic gestures across media such as performance, installation, printmaking, and poetic prose. Rooted in archaeology, anthropology, and language, her practice treats life experience as artistic material, questioning how we document, remember, and share the everyday. Her works, ranging from ephemeral acts to lifelong collections, reflect on memory, subjectivity, and the impossibility of fully capturing the present.

  

December 18: Picturing the Southern Landscape by Dr. Keri Watson

Join Dr. Keri Watson for an engaging exploration of the Southern landscape through the lens of Dawoud Bey’s Evergreen. Discover how the Louisiana setting plays a central role in the themes and impact of the piece. Dr. Keri Watson is a Professor of Art History and the Assistant Director of the School of Visual Arts and Design at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Watson teaches advanced courses in 19th- and 20th-century American art, along with specialized topics such as The Art of Walt Disney, Southern Folk Arts, and African American Art.
