Teachers

At the Orlando Museum of Art (OMA), we’re dedicated to inspiring educators and enriching classrooms through dynamic programs and resources. Our offerings support teachers at every level, providing tools for professional growth, engaging student experiences, and creative learning opportunities.

These workshops are designed to help teachers make meaningful interdisciplinary classroom connections with works of art and learn innovative teaching strategies to bring back to the classroom.
Students of all ages can explore our galleries, participate in thought-provoking discussions, and engage with art, from original picture book illustrations to contemporary and traditional works! Our interdisciplinary tours use inquiry discussions to explore various aspects of the OMA’s collections and special exhibitions, sparking creativity and stressing critical thinking skills. Field trips align with curriculum standards and complement classroom lessons.
Educators and organizations can access art kits, books, poster-size reproductions of art, and educational materials through the Resource Center. This valuable resource enhances learning and engagement for students of all ages and abilities.

Other Programs We Offer

In addition to our teacher-focused resources, OMA provides various programs for adults, youth, families, and community members. Explore our Adult Programs, Youth Programs, Community Access Programs, Family Programs, and Education Galleries.
