Our adult programs provide a perfect opportunity for creativity and connection. At OMA, we believe art education is a lifelong journey. We offer a variety of engaging learning opportunities for adults of all ages. Join us for a gallery talk, lecture, or studio program to engage your love for the arts!

Help your family connect and broaden their horizons by participating in one of our engaging programs. Giving children a strong base within the arts teaches practical skills, self-discipline, confidence, creativity, and critical thinking, providing an outlet for artistic expression. Parents and children can discover the OMA together as they make lifelong memories of discovering the joys of art.

At OMA, we recognize that parents must nurture creativity and learning early in life. Our youth programs, which range from school tours and sketching in the galleries to seasonal art camps and hands-on art experiences, provide many ways for children and students to become involved in art.

Teachers help inspire the next generation of artists and art lovers. Our teacher-focused programs support and enhance art in the classrooms by offering multiple resources to teachers. Educators or school staff can use our cross-curricular lesson plans, professional development workshops, school field trips, and our Resource Center to bring art education to their classrooms and inspire creativity.

OMA welcomes visitors of all ages and abilities. We offer special programs for children with developmental and learning disabilities and their families, as well as programs for adults suffering from memory loss or neurological impairments and their healthy caregivers. We also offer outreach programs for art lovers who cannot visit the Museum.

Did you know OMA has a gallery specifically for student art? Our Peggy Crosby Student Gallery showcases artwork created by the imaginative minds of young students in our community. Our Dr. P. Phillips Foundation Gallery features artwork created by participants in our Community Access programs, which include Art’s the Spark, Creative Connections, Illume, and Art with Purpose. These galleries are always free to explore during our public hours.
