Ambassadors Program

Join the Ambassadors and support OMA through exclusive programs and events, like Ambassador Socials. Ambassador gifts are unrestricted contributions of $1,500 and above and are tax-deductible as charitable donations. As an Ambassador, you’ll help us support the Central Florida region with art and new ideas. 

Council of 101

The Council of 101 is a vital group of nearly 300 dynamic women leaders in the Central Florida Community who host renowned events like Art in Bloom and Festival of Trees while overseeing the Corporate Lease program. Founded in 1965, the Council furthers the cultural development and appreciation of the visual arts in the Central Florida Community.

Acquisition Trust

The Acquisition Trust plays a key role in enhancing OMA’s permanent collection. Membership dues directly fund new acquisitions, and members enjoy exclusive benefits, including:

  • Participation in the acquisition of art through voting privileges  
  • Opportunities to travel with Acquisition Trust members 
  • Meetings with artists in their studios and galleries
  • Invitations to members-only events throughout the year
  • Private tours of OMA exhibitions
  • Recognition as an Acquisition Trust member in the Museum’s Hubbard Hall

Friends of American Art

The Friends of American Art group supports OMA’s collection of American art. The increasing size, diversity, and excellence of the permanent collection are an enduring tribute to those who ensure the success of this program through their participation. Membership benefits include:

  • Voting privileges for the selection of art to be purchased by the FAA
  • Invitations to receptions to view art being considered for purchase by FAA. 
  • Exclusive FAA member and prospective member events.
  • Trips to major national art sales and art exhibitions
  • Exclusive tours of private art collections
  • Recognition as an FAA member, displayed in OMA

Docent Program

Docents are volunteer educators who guide visitors through OMA’s exhibitions. Becoming a docent is an involved process that requires significant time to learn about art and the museum. This level of dedication sets it apart from typical volunteer roles. This program is open to art enthusiasts eager to share their knowledge and passion for art with the community.

Sponsorships

Partner with OMA as a sponsor to support exhibitions and educational programs. Sponsorships offer businesses and individuals a unique way to give back to the community while gaining visibility. We offer sponsorship packages for specific exhibitions or the entire exhibition season, as well as a variety of sponsorship levels for our education programming.

Donate to OMA

OMA is a United Arts Collaborative Campaign partner. Donations made through the Collaborative Campaign, which runs from November to April, are eligible for a match. These donations support museum activities, including exhibitions, docent training, staff needs, art supplies, equipment upgrades, publications, and community programs.
