Art Adventures Overview

Art Adventures invites young artists and their grown-ups to explore creativity through hands-on artmaking and guided gallery exploration. Each workshop begins in the studio, where children experiment with materials and techniques in an encouraging, imaginative environment. Before working on projects, families can get inspired in the galleries by artworks that connect to the day’s theme. This program nurtures artistic curiosity, builds early confidence, and strengthens creative bonds between children and caregivers.

Who It’s For:

  • Families with children ages 2–10 seeking engaging kids’ art classes in Orlando
  • Parents, grandparents, or caregivers looking for a creative Friday activity
  • Young artists who enjoy exploring materials, color, and hands-on projects

What Happens During a Typical Session:

Each Art Adventures workshop begins with a warm welcome in the studio, followed by a guided introduction to the day’s materials. Before the studio activity, the group visits the gallery to get inspiration from the works on display. Children and adults then work side by side on a hands-on project designed to spark curiosity and creativity. Sessions are paced for kids, highly interactive, and designed to encourage participation from both children and grown-ups.

What’s Included:

  • Hands-on studio art activity
  • All materials and supplies
  • Guided gallery visit connected to the workshop theme
  • Space for children and adults to learn, create, and explore together
