Jefreid Lotti is an American artist based in Miami, Florida. Working primarily in oil painting, Lotti creates painterly depictions of interiors, still lifes, and portraits informed by his Cuban heritage, life in Miami, a formative year in the Midwest, and his daily experiences in a mechanic shop, blending blue-collar narratives with a refined artistic sensibility. Jefreid’s work is featured in OMA’s Echoes of the Ancient in Contemporary Voices exhibition, on view through March 15.
