Full Museum Rental

Take over the galleries, rotunda, and courtyard for a one-night, art-filled celebration that moves seamlessly from vows in the Rotunda to cocktails among masterpieces and dancing under the stars. 

Capacity: up to 350 seated or up to 800 for a standing museum-wide celebration.

Beneath a skylit dome, the Rotunda surrounds guests with marble columns and masterworks that change with every exhibition so your wedding photos are guaranteed to be one-of-a-kind. The circular layout creates an effortless flow from ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner, while floor-to-ceiling windows reveal leafy Loch Haven Park at twilight. 

Capacity: up to 100 guests or 250 guests when used in conjunction with the Council of 101 Meeting Rooms.

Council of 101 Meeting Rooms

Warm wood paneling, plush carpeting, and expansive park-view windows create an inviting backdrop for rehearsal dinners, intimate ceremonies, or lounge-style receptions; movable walls let you combine Rooms A, B, and C for the perfect fit. 

Capacity: up to 225 guests when combined.

Council of 101 Grand Gallery

For couples who want a dramatic entrance, the Grand Gallery delivers: an iconic Dale Chihuly glass tower anchors the space, with galleries branching off like private conversation nooks for guests to explore between courses. Picture golden-hour portraits against art-filled walls, followed by dining and dancing under 40-foot ceilings. 

Capacity: up to 250 guests.

Truist Auditorium

If you’re dreaming of a cinematic ceremony, the Auditorium offers plush tiered seating and professional lighting so every vow is heard and every moment is spotlight-worthy. After the formalities, guide guests straight into the adjacent Grand Gallery or rotunda for cocktails. 

Capacity: 250 theater-style seats.

City of Orlando Sculpture Plaza

Say “I do” under the palms, then dance the night away under the stars. This open-air courtyard pairs modern sculpture with lush landscaping, giving you an elegant backdrop without leaving downtown Orlando. Bistro lighting and artful hardscaping mean minimal décor is needed to make a statement. 

Capacity: up to 150 guests

Event Timing

Our standard wedding package includes five event hours (typically 6–11 p.m.) plus two hours for setup from 4–6 p.m. 

One great thing about our venue is that there are no sound ordinances or venue-imposed curfews, so your celebration doesn’t have to end early. Need more time? Add an extra hour to your rental for an additional fee. 

A complimentary rehearsal is available the day before.

Free parking is available for your guests just outside the entrance. You can arrange valet parking through our preferred contractor.

Wedding Venue FAQs

How far in advance should we book our wedding?

We recommend booking your wedding at OMA at least one year in advance to secure your preferred date. However, we can accommodate shorter notice if the venue is available on your desired date. To book your wedding, please contact our Facility Rentals Coordinator.

Our venues are available for rent any day of the week after 4 pm and all day Monday.

You are welcome to bring outside vendors for most aspects of your wedding. However, we have a list of approved caterers available in our rental kit.

OMA provides an on-site event supervisor to handle building access, gallery timing, and vendor load-in, but we do not offer full wedding-planning services. 

Because of the logistics of hosting events in a museum setting, we require that couples hire at least a professional day-of coordinator (or a full-service planner). Your coordinator manages timelines, décor, vendors, and guest flow so our team can focus on making sure the venue runs smoothly.

Absolutely! The City of Orlando Sculpture Plaza is popular for open-air ceremonies and receptions. Every outdoor booking includes an indoor backup (usually the Rotunda) at no extra cost, and you may rent tenting from a vendor for extra peace of mind.

Your preferred date is reserved once we receive a signed rental agreement and a non-refundable 30% deposit.

Yes. We rent our venue for all types of private and corporate events including company-wide meetings, holiday parties, birthdays, anniversaries, mitzvahs, quinceañeras, galas, and more. Our team tailors spaces, amenities, and vendors to match your vision.
