Come on an adventure at OMA! Join us for a workshop that features a hands-on art activity in the studio followed by a visit to the gallery. Explore materials and techniques in a stimulating and inviting environment that fosters engagement and creativity for young children and their favorite grown-ups! Ideal for children ages 2-10.

Light up your world this holiday season by creating a decorative shadow box with fairy lights! Design a cozy holiday scene using cotton balls, festive ribbons, assorted papers, sequins, jewels, and more.

Friday, January 17: A Pirate’s Life For Me!
Ahoy, matey! All aboard the museum ship for an ARTventure! Join us as we explore museum treasures old and new, while making art that is tried and true. Create a seascape painting and decorate a treasure chest to fill with colorful gems!

Friday, February 14: Love Grows at OMA  (SOLD OUT)
Celebrate the season of love by creating a bouquet of handprinted flowers! Design flower petals featuring your little one’s tiny hands. Incorporate pipe cleaners, sequins, and more to create a cherished work of art.

Friday, March 7: Colors of the Rainbow!
Join us for a colorful day at OMA! Listen to an educator read the book Elmer’s Colors, written and illustrated by David McKee. Learn about the colors of the rainbow and create your own rainbow hanger using cardboard, colorful scraps of paper, cotton balls, crepe paper, and string.

Friday, April 11: Shapes in Art 
Circles, squares, triangles, and more! Join the fun and go on a shape search through the OMA galleries! Search high and low for shapes of all sizes and forms. In the studio, use shapes and colors to create a unique mobile to hang in your home!

Friday, May 2: Portrait pARTy!
Discover the art of portraiture by viewing and creating artwork that features a person! Explore the exhibition Portraits of Fusionfest and see the beautiful diversity within our Central Florida community. Paint a portrait on canvas of your family and learn how to showcase everyone’s personality through colors and attributes.

REFUND POLICY

Full refunds will be provided if a class does not meet minimum enrollment and is canceled. A refund equal to half of tuition paid will be provided for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the first day of the class. No refunds, no exceptions, will be made if the cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to a class. Refund requests must be made in writing and should be emailed to education@omart.org.
