OMA’s Family ArtReach Program engages families residing at the Coalition for the Homeless and the Women’s Residential & Counseling Center (WRCC)
It empowers families with a creative outlet for self-expression, lifelong learning skills, and an appreciation of and exposure to diverse art forms. This multigenerational program brings a high-quality art program to families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in arts programs or visit the OMA. The program runs August 2015 – April 2016 and consists of studio art workshops led by Catherine Cross at the Women’s Residential & Counseling Center, five field trips to the Museum for interactive tours of exhibitions, four workshops with professional guest artists, and art kits for participating students. Family ArtReach 2015-2016 is free for participants and is sponsored by two groups:
