Zackary Drucker is a transgender artist who deconstructs the preconceived notions of gender and urges us to think about the role that it plays in friendship, romance, and sexuality. In her artwork, she portrays herself in visual narratives that challenge established binaries of male and female, fiction and reality, viewer and subject. Relationship is Drucker’s most acclaimed body of work and is a significant artistic contribution to society’s current dialogue about transgender identity.
