Dive into a summer of creativity and fun at the Orlando Museum of Art’s Summer Art Camp. The immersive art-making experiences in this Orlando summer camp emphasize the value of creative expression in a relaxed setting. From programs designed for fun-loving kids to those catered to serious art students, our sessions provide something for every aspiring artist.
OMA offers a unique summer camp experience for young artists, providing a hands-on experience for students entering grades 1-12. Classes are organized by grade level, and campers draw inspiration from gallery exhibitions to create one-of-a-kind art projects. Parents can choose from flexible weeklong full-day or half-day options. Register for one week or up to eleven weeks, with a different theme each week.
Students receive age-appropriate instruction, exploring materials like drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. This creative environment helps them build confidence and express themselves in new ways.

Grades: Entering 1st- 12th grade
Member pricing: $255 for the full-day weeklong program or $62 – $155 for the half-day weeklong program
Future member pricing: $280 for the full-day weeklong program or $102-$170 for the half-day weeklong program
Early drop off/late pickup available: $30 per child per week. Late pickup is available from 4-5:15 p.m. for $30 per week, per child (an additional $1 per minute charge will be incurred for pickup later than 5:15 p.m.). Payment for the entire week is required; no pro-rating available.
Registration deadline: One week before the first day of the session.
Changes to Registration: Changes to a registration, such as transferring to a different week than originally selected, incurs a $25 handling fee and is based on class availability.
Sibling/Group Discount: Enroll more than one child the same week of sessions and receive a $10/week discount for each additional child enrolled. Discount only applies for children registered at the same time.
Multi-week Discounts: Receive a $10/week discount for multiple week enrollment after the first week. *Only one discount eligible per registration (not including membership discount).

Sessions emphasize technical skill building and personal artistic expression, helping students grow as independent artists. High school students participate in focused, studio-style classes designed to deepen their understanding of various media and art forms. Through drawing, painting, mixed media, and printmaking, students build their portfolios, strengthen observational techniques, and explore a range of artistic genres in a supportive environment.

Registrations are accepted on a space-available basis prior to the first day of class. We reserve the right to cancel any session that does not meet the minimum enrollment. Full payment is required before your child’s registration will be processed (we cannot hold a space for your child until we receive full payment). We process registrations as they are received. You will be notified if the sessions you requested are full. Once you submit a registration, an email confirmation will be sent to verify your child’s enrollment. Each session at OMA includes:
What should my child bring? All campers should bring a refillable water bottle and a light jacket or sweater. Full-day campers must bring lunch. Refrigeration and microwaves are unavailable.
Do you offer sibling discounts? Yes. Enroll more than one child in the same week of Orlando summer camp sessions and receive a $10/week discount for each additional child enrolled. The discount only applies to children registered at the same time.
What is the refund policy? Refunds (minus a $25 handling fee) are available with written notice two weeks before the start of the session. No refunds are issued for unused days of a session, and no refunds will be provided within the two weeks leading up to the first day of the session. No exceptions.
How is lunch handled? Full-day campers have a supervised lunch and recess from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. Outdoor seating is used when weather permits. A “nut-free” table is provided for students with allergies. We encourage caregivers to inform the staff if their camper has other dietary restrictions.
What if my child has never done art before? All skill levels are welcome! OMA’s museum staff help beginners feel confident exploring new materials. Summer Art Camp is the perfect place to foster creativity in an encouraging environment. Campers will learn new skills and be inspired by artwork in the galleries. There’s something for everyone at OMA!
Are electronic devices permitted? Campers should leave electronics at home. Cell phones are allowed for emergencies. Tablets are permitted only during Early Drop-off and Late Pick-up. With OMA staff approval, middle and high school students may use cell phones at lunch or recess. Tablets are banned during lunch and recess for all grades. Middle and high school students can use devices to reference artwork images in the studio.
