The Friends of American Art Collection: Thirty Years of Collecting

Friends of American Art (FAA) is a collecting circle founded in 1993 by dedicated individuals who aim to enrich the Orlando Museum of Art’s permanent collection of traditional American Art. The acquisitions made by FAA have laid a historic foundation for the overall collection, offering a lasting resource for the enjoyment and education of the museum’s visitors. As of 2023, FAA has acquired 12 works of art for OMA. This exhibition celebrates thirty years of FAA and features works acquired by the group, as well as substantial gifts made by its generous affiliates.
